Future Leaders Forum – Conventa 2015

Today I participated on a very interesting event in Gospodarsko razstavišče. I got an invitation for the Future Leaders Forum, which was a part of Conventa, a Southeast European trade show for meetings, events and incentives.

First there were two speakers, talking about meeting indusstry. We had an interesting agree to disagree situation. :) Paul Kennedy, who is known to be one of the leading personas in this industry, was saying that meeting industry has nothing to do with tourism. I remember quite opposite from the Uuniversity. And so does one of the student who was determined to oppose him. :) They had a minor argue and agreed to disagree. I am kind of oh his side, because travelling in meeting or business industry is only the logistic part, it has nothing to do with the leisure.

After the coffee break we had another guest and then a workshop to prepare an incentive programme that we had to present in front of teo judges. I was a bir nervous! :D But only due to English language, I really am not used to speak publicly in English.

After lunch and the presentations we had some roundtables, which was very good from the mingling perspective. Did I mingle? :) Of course I did. :D I connected with two persons that I see potential cooperations. We will se, mails are sent, now I wait. :)
